Martin Qualifies for National ChampionshipsTrent University student-athlete Laura Martin has qualified for the CIS swimming championships after an impressive showing at the Brock Invitational this past weekend. Laura qualified in the 50m breaststroke as finished in first place with a time of 35:15. Laura also finished in first place in both the 100m breast (1:17.27), and the 200m breast (2:46.14). Laura established new school records in all three events. Anthony Ferri was equally impressive as he finished in first place in both the men's 50m free (25.88) and the 100m free (58.63), adding to Trent's gold medal total for the day was Katie Hlapcic in the women's 200m medley (3:01.78).
