Trent Curlers will represent Ontario John Epping, and Ainsley Galbraith will represent Trent University at the Karcher Canadian Junior Curling Championships, Feb 7 - 15 in Victoria BC. Epping skipped his Toronto Granite Curling Club junior men's team to victory in the Ontario Curling Association (OCA) junior men's final this past weekend, in Oakville, Ontario. Epping also skips Trent's varsity men's team in OUA play. Galbraith, a first year Trent student, plays lead on Kelly Cochrane's junior women's Peterborough Curling Club team. The two combined to win this weekend's OCA junior women's final. Their team will also represent Ontario at the Karcher Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Galbraith plays vice for Trent's varsity women's team. Trent Athlete of the Week Trent University is proud to announce that Angela Dafoe is the RILEY'S-JUNCTION Female Athlete of the Week, for the week of January 5 - January 11. "Ange", the starting power for the women's volleyball team, had 17 kills, and 1 ace, for a total of 18 points versus the Eastern division's 2nd place Loyalist Lancers last week in OCAA volleyball action. Dafoe also participated in the OCAA all-star game this past weekend in Hamilton, Ontario. Dafoe hails from Frankford, Ontario and is a 3rd year Con-Education student.
