Program Description
In this professional postgraduate certificate program, you will explore interdisciplinary topics related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), including the fundamental concepts of AI, basic computer programming, algorithms of machine learning, statistics, information systems, and the history, ethics, social, and political implications of AI.
Through this program – completed following your undergraduate degree – you will gain a deeper understanding of AI and ways to implement this cutting-edge technology in your professional career, and beyond.
This postgraduate certificate program is offered exclusively at Trent’s Durham campus in the Greater Toronto Area. You will study in modern, new learning facilities at the Trent Durham Advanced Learning Centre (ALC) in the heart of downtown Oshawa surrounded by restaurants, cafés, entertainment venues, and other amenities.
The ALC is also designed with student success in mind - in addition to Trent Durham instructors, the University provides a wide range of on-site support services including academic advisors, career supports, library staff, and Trent International.
