Convocation
Information on this page is for Durham ceremonies. If you are a student or guest attending a Peterborough ceremony, please visit the Peterborough Convocation site.
Convocation is the formal ceremony for the conferral of degrees, diplomas and certificates, and a time-honoured tradition that celebrates every student’s academic accomplishments. It is a commemoration of your life at Trent and an opportunity to share this significant milestone with your family and friends.
Trent University Durham Greater Toronto Area's convocation ceremonies are held at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa.

- Undergraduate/Certificate: Register > Verification > International Immigration Letter
- Graduate Students: Academics > Academic Record > Verification of Enrollment Request
- If you have already graduated you can provide your official completion letter
- Write a Letter of Invitation to invite your relative to Convocation. The Canadian Government provides clear information to help you write a Letter of Invitation on their website.
