Food and drinks are permitted in general study areas including tables, study carrels, individual and group study rooms.
Permitted
- Lidded beverages
- Snacks and food that is not prone to spills or staining
Not Permitted
- Delivery of food and drinks to the Library is not permitted. Delivery drivers may be denied entry.
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
- Food gatherings and communal meals are not permitted, eg. pizza parties, potlucks etc.
- Food and drink may be restricted in certain areas, i.e. Archives, Quiet Study Rooms.
Please dispose of garbage and recycling. Report spills or messes to the Library Service Desk.
University sanctioned events in Library spaces are exempt from these guidelines.
