Managers can help by encouraging staff to take care of themselves, to go home if they are sick and/or have a fever. Try to make an extra effort to be supportive of staff that have come down with the flu.
Given that this flu season could bring significant employee absences, think about how you might handle important events, deadlines and activities with reduced staff.
