STI Testing and Treatment for Trent Students
Health Services offers a few different STI Testing options for students, read below to find out what option is best for you!
Routine Screening (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea)

This is for you if you have NO symptoms (to find out what symptoms of an STI might be, click here)

Is an appointment with the nurse and can be booked online or by phone.

Tests for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea (you will be asked to provide a urine swab and/or do a self-swab)
STI Testing requiring blood work (HIV, Hepatitis, Syphillis)

If you would like to receive testing for HIV, Hepatitis and/or Syphillis in addition to Chlamydia and Gonnorhea, you will require a physician's appointment to receive a requisition for blood work. Please call us to make an appointment.
If you have had sexual contact with a person who has been told they have an STI:
- Call us to make an appointment for treatment and testing.
If you have symptoms of an STI:

Other STI Testing options in Peterborough
Get a requisition for STI testing from home without having to speak to a healthcare provider! You will be required to take your requisition to a lab for completion. Your results will be securely available online. If your results are positive, a healthcare provider from Peterborough Public Health will contact you.
