Probationary Assessment Evaluation Form
All new regular/recurring OPSEU/EXEMPT employees must undergo a Probationary Evaluation. The objective of this process is to ensure that employees understand what the standards are by which they are being measured, how they are progressing and what their evaluation is prior to the end of the probationary period. The key to this process is clear communication between the Supervisor and employee.
OPSEU Performance Review
An annual appraisal is an important part of an employee’s experience at Trent University. All employees are entitled to hear about what they are doing well, and where they can improve. The annual performance review is an opportunity to have a one-one dialogue with their supervisor regarding their contributions to the University, their learning objectives and future plans.
EXEMPT (Administrative) Performance Review
The performance review process is a formal communication which is an integral part of performance management and is tied to compensation. All exempt and management employees will have an annual review of their performance using the performance review system outlined in this policy. Annual compensation is tied to this review and the ratings received by employees.
EXEMPT (Management) Performance Review
The performance review process is a formal communication which is an integral part of performance management and is tied to compensation. All exempt and management employees will have an annual review of their performance using the performance review system outlined in this policy.
