Catharine Parr Traill College Turns 60!
Traill College, Trent’s oldest College, was established in 1964 and named after nineteenth-century author and naturalist, Catharine Parr Traill.
After six decades, Traill is everything that a twenty-first century collegiate institution should be: inclusive, diverse, engaging, and, importantly, fun.
"For six decades Catharine Parr Traill College has been a downtown oasis for Trent students, an innovative space for discussions and performances, and a place where students could go home to at the end of the day. Traill has always been an essential part of Trent University and this year we celebrate, together, a proud tradition of scholarship, friendship, and fun."
