Age: |
Campers must be the minimum age by December 31, 2025 for each camp program age guideline listed. Exception: Mini Excalibur Campers – the camper must be 4 yrs old at the time of camp. |
Camp Fees: |
New for 2025: TEC is offering a Payment Plan option. The payment plan allows for monthly installments to pay for camp registration. 25% of the total amount is owed at the time of registration. The remaining balance is then divided into equal monthly installments with payments reoccurring automatically on the first of the month, with the final payment April 1st. Payment plans are an option, and you can choose to pay full fees at the time of registration. For any families experiencing financial barriers to camp, please contact the Camp Office for information about subsidies and support as soon as you can - excaliburcamp@trentu.ca |
Equipment: |
Parents are expected to provide campers with a variety of items for their camp day (e.g. hat, sunscreen, snacks, water bottle, lunch, running shoes, athletic shorts, one-piece bathing suit, and camp t-shirt). Our Getting Ready for Camp newsletter, which will be distributed by email, will provide a detailed list of required equipment and clothing. Until then, please contact the Camp Office if you have any questions about the necessary camp supplies. |
Transfers: |
Transfers between sessions may be granted if a request is made prior to the start of the original session and adequate space is available in the new session. |
Refunds: |
Please note that pro-rated refunds may be issued on case by case basis for health-related issues. |
Health & Personal Information: |
The Health and Personal Information form must be completed and submitted on the first day of each session. Campers will not be permitted to take part in any camp activities without this completed form. Parents must also notify the Camp immediately of changes to their child's physical or emotional health, guardianship, or family contact information. For campers that have individual requirements, learning plans, or additional needs, we will work with families on a case by case basis to ensure that we can support campers to have the best experience possible whilst at camp. We ask families to contact us and/or have an appointment so we can discuss their requirements and put support plans into place. Campers must be toilet trained and able to use the toilet without assistance unless there is a medical or diagnosed condition that requires personal care. We are able to accommodate campers having personal support workers to assist with this - please feel free to reach out and discuss this with us! |
Parental Guardianship: | Unless otherwise noted, the Camp will assume that both parents/guardians listed on the Application for Registration have full and unrestricted access to the camper(s) being registered and that both parents are made and kept fully aware of the application being made. If either parent-guardian attests there are any restrictions on other parents' or guardians' access to children before, during, or after the camp or the related registration information, the camp requires legal documentation to support this. |
Personal Belongings: | While we take many steps to help campers secure their personal belongings, the Camp cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of campers' equipment or supplies while at camp. |
Other conditions: |
Program dates are subject to change based on ongoing public health conditions. Additional conditions will appear in camp e-newsletters and the June information package. |
