Why Trent Cash?
One of the steps of your Residence Application is to select the amount of Trent Cash you would like loaded on your TrentU Card.
Whichever selection you make will be billed to your student account (where your tuition, residence fees, and other student fees are also charged) and deposited on your TrentU Card for your arrival date.
It can be used for:
Textbooks and academic supplies via the campus bookstore (they price-match all textbooks, guaranteeing you the best prices and easy service – residence students spent an average of $950 on textbooks in 2017/2018 using their Trent Cash),
10 locally-owned restaurants in downtown Peterborough offering a variety of culinary options, giving students the opportunity to enhance their dining experience and engage with the Peterborough community,
Snacks and convenience items (cannot be purchased with your Basic Dining Plan),
Event Tickets including college formals, festive dinners, and university-wide events (Head of the Trent, East Vs. West Bowl etc.),
Print and copy services on campus (only method of payment accepted).
It is completely secure, never expires, is completely refundable (upon withdrawal or graduation) and allows for easy budgeting and insurance that the funds are going towards food and academic goods and services.
