*New* Lab Hazard Poster (November 2023)
A new version of the Lab Hazard Poster has been created. Laboratory Supervisors are being asked to complete a Lab Hazard Poster for every lab they supervise. Department Chairs should ensure that an Lab Hazard Poster is created for all departmental teaching labs. A short powerpoint presentation "How to Complete" will demonstrate how to complete the poster and submit for printing.
The poster template can be downloaded from the link below. The template is in a pdf format but must be opened with either Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat reader (the template may not function properly if other pdf readers are used). Please review the powerpoint presentation before using the template.
Download the template and save it on your computer. Open the file with either Adobe Acrobat or Acrobate reader. Following the instructions and guidance in the "How to complete" document (which you can download below) complete the information in the Lab Hazard Poster. Save a copy on your local computer and send an email to cwilliams@trentu.ca or Angelasikma@trentu.ca with the poster attached. We will arrange for printing and have it sent back to you. Once you receive the printed version of the poster (which has been printed on adhesive paper) it can be put over top of the existing older poster on your lab door.
