Profile
Devin Penner completed his B.A. in Political Science at the University of Winnipeg, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science at York University. His research interests fall mainly in the areas of Canadian politics, political economy and political theory. His most recent book, Rethinking the Spectacle: Guy Debord, Radical Democracy, and the Digital Age, was published by UBC Press (2019). He is currently working on a research project on the political economy of philanthropy in Canada.
