By completing a degree in English Literature at Trent University Oshawa, recent graduate Simon Harker says he gained “worldly knowledge and a better understanding of life in general.” Simon says engaging with a variety of literary materials as an undergraduate was one of the highlights of his academic experience at Trent. In describing his decision to attend Trent University Oshawa, he says, “I heard whispers of a relatively small and inclusive University community with incredibly accommodating staff and faculty. Needless to say, this alone attracted me there.” In the fall, Simon will begin a Masters in Literatures of Modernity, a challenge, he says, for which his time at Trent has well-prepared. “I can offer nothing but thanks and praise to exemplary and influential professors who encouraged my growth as an academic and individual,” he says. |
