If you have completed a Specialist High Skills Major as part of your Ontario Secondary School Diploma you can apply for this scholarship through your myTrent portal by answering this question:
How did your Specialist High Skills Major help prepare you for Trent University?
In 1000 words or less, explain how completing a SHSM will help you to be successful as you pursue your degree.
The deadline to apply is July 14, 2024.
Awarding
A committee will review the applications and select a recipient based on the responses to the question. The successful student will be notified by August 2, 2024.
The SHSM Scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s student account. This Scholarship can be combined with other Trent University Scholarships.
To Be Eligible
- You must receive the Specialist High Skills Major seal on your secondary school diploma.
- You must be a new incoming student directly from high school.
- You must be registered full-time for the 2024-2025 academic year at Trent University in Peterborough or Durham.
- The SHSM scholarship is non-refundable and non-transferrable and cannot be deferred to a different year.
