Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)
Financial assistance in the form of grants and loans is available through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). Funded by federal and provincial governments, the program provides interest-free loans and non-repayable grants to students throughout their academic careers.
The purpose of the OSAP Student Assistance program is to assist full-time students (at least 60% course load or 40% load for students with a permanent disability) when the financial resources available to them from parents, spouses, summer employment or other sources do not meet estimated educational costs.

Trent Work Study Program (TWSP)
Funded by Trent University, TWSP provides more than 300 part-time jobs on campus for full-time students. Students may earn up to $2,000 during the school year. TWSP is available for students receiving OSAP or the student aid program from another province.

Eligible students will receive a 30% tuition grant from the Ontario government.

Part-time Canada Student Loans
Part-time students (registered in less than 60% course load) with demonstrated financial need may qualify for a grant or loan from the federal government.
