• Canadian Communication Association- The annual conference is the first and most tangible benefit of membership in the CCA. The Canadian Journal of Communication offers a reduced subscription rate to members. We play an important role in mentoring and supporting graduate students, providing bilingual networking opportunities, circulating research, and raising the public profile of Canadian communication scholars, both in Canadian public discourse and internationally. Student memberships are available. 
• International Association of Business Communicators- IABC membership connects communication professionals with the insights, people and knowledge they need to thrive in all stages of their careers from student to strategist to business leader. IABC membership is our superpower. Their members work in the communication field across disciplines and industries. You can find IABC members in corporations, small businesses, non-profits, government, agencies and as independent consultants. Student membership is available.
• Canadian Public Relations Society- As a student member you will get access to a community of passionate and experienced PR professionals, always willing to share their expertise. You will be able to join a local chapter for no additional fees, and make local connections that can last a lifetime and you will get access to the CPRS job board, where you can find the latest opportunities from some of the top Canadian PR employers.
• Public Affairs Association of Canada- By becoming a member of PAAC, you will gain the skills and connections you need to excel in your field. We offer meaningful membership benefits that can benefit you at all stages of your career, no matter your sector, job level or location. Membership benefits include access to the online PAAC membership directory, sizeable event discounts and the cachet of belonging to Canada’s premier public affairs association. Student memberships available. 
• Association of Public Safety Communicators- The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials, Canada, Inc. is a voluntary, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of public safety communications. It serves the people who supply, install and operate the Emergency Communications Systems used around the Country from coast to coast to coast. Members come from every type of public safety organization in the country, including 9-1-1, police, fire and emergency medical services as well as emergency management, disaster planning and federal search and rescue personnel. Student memberships available.
