How to enter

Participants may enter repeatedly, but each individual video must be entered with the following:

When: All entries must be received by the Office of Marketing and Communications, Suite 109, Bata Library, by February 17, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. EST. Winners will be notified in March 2012.

What:
Include the following in one envelope:
i. Video entry on a DVD (AVI or MPEG4 format).
ii. Official Entry Form
iii. Photo Release forms – signed by all people who appear in the video(s) – this is the responsibility of the entrant. Submissions will not be returned.

Photo Release Form

Where: Submit your video entry by printing and completing all of the above forms and submitting the entry in person to the Office of Marketing and Communications, Suite 109, Bata Library.

Format: The video format must be AVI or MPEG4 format. Entries not meeting these requirements or those that are improperly formatted will be disqualified. For the video, the audio and video quality should be as high as possible.

Photo release form: Contest participants must have the written permission of all those featured in their videos (with the exception of people in large crowd scenes that do not focus on specific individuals). Please use the attached Photo Release form. Failure to include a Photo Release form for all participants will disqualify the entry.

Digital File: The winning entrants for the video portion of the competition must be able to provide the original digital file of their submission in a video editing program file.

These materials must be received by the panel within ten (10) days of notification. If all materials are not received within ten (10) days, or if winner notification is returned undeliverable, or if winner if found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, disqualification will result.
