Dr. Christopher Tindale is director of the Centre for Research in Argumentation, Reasoning and Rhetoric and professor of Philosophy at the University of Windsor, where he has been since 2006. Prior to that, he taught at Trent for 19 years, during which time he held a number of positions, including senior tutor of Traill College from 1998 to 2001 (prior to which he was senior tutor at Champlain College). He was also chair of the Department of Ancient History and Classics and was active in the Peterborough community, serving as president of Hospice Peterborough, as well as several terms as president of the Peterborough AIDS Resource Network. At Windsor he is actively engaged in research and graduate teaching. His most recent book, The Philosophy of Argument and Audience Reception, was published in 2015 by Cambridge University Press.
