This page will summarize how international students who are registered at either of Trent's campuses (Peterborough or Durham) will be billed for The Bridge Program.
International students will be billed the rate for a 0.5 credit for The Bridge program course. This fee will be due before the program starts. As students have taken 0.5 of their academic year course load before the start of the academic term in September, they will be refunded the cost of a 0.5 credit from their tuition fees due September 2024. This will allow students to drop a course from their fall term and lighten their course load without changing the amount they are billed. Further, due to the virtual nature of this year's Bridge Program offering, no fees beyond tuition will be charged for taking The Bridge course.
Billing steps for International Students are as follows:
- Students will be billed for the 0.5 credit Bridge course of their choosing. These fees will be due by the start of the program.
- Students will then be billed for their full fall course load. Since students will be able to drop a course, a refund will appear for their Bridge tuition. Think of the Bridge as paying for a 0.5 credit in advance.
- Students will then be billed for their full winter course load.
The chart below includes the 2023-2024 Tuition fees, as an example. The 2024-25 fees are still pending final approval.
Final International Student Tuition Fees will be posted on Trent's International Tuition Webpage.
