Interested in doing a Reading Course?
Step 1:
Check out our Faculty and Research page to see which staff are able to take on students, at this time. Take some time to see who is researching what; and, if you feel you would be a good fit to work with them.
Step 2:
Reach out to the faculty member you are interested in working with. This could be sending them a email, connecting with them after class, or setting up a meeting with them.
Step 3:
Once a faculty member has agreed to supervise you, you will need to complete the following two forms (both you and your supervisor will need to sign both pages) and create a reading list.
Form 1 - Registration Form
Form 2 - Reading Course Form
PTBO Campus: Please return both signed pages and your reading list to psychology@trentu.ca or drop them off to the psych department office DNA C104
Durham Campus: Please return both signed pages and your reading list to psychologydurham@trentu.ca
Step 4:
The department co-ordinator will review your forms and transcript. If there are no issues, the department will enroll you in the course. You do not need to enroll yourself.
