The ceremony is scheduled to be held outdoors. We encourage guests to dress for the weather and be prepared for the sun.

In case of rain, heat, or poor air quality, ceremonies will be moved indoors to the Great Hall. The decision will be made 1 hour before the ceremony and communicated via this website, social media and all volunteers. Seating may be more limited in this venue than outdoors.

Parking

After parking, please follow the signs and make your way to the Tapscott-Lopes Court in front of the Bata Library for the ceremony.
Please note that the distance from the parking lots to the actual ceremony can be up to 0.5 km.
Bus Service
Peterborough Transit has many buses that come to campus. Review the TCSA website for full service details.
Alternatively, GO Transit has a stop for route 88, beside Gzowski College, on East Bank.
Accessibility

Mobility Aids: If you require mobility assistance devices such as a cane, walker or wheelchair, we highly recommend you bring it with you to the ceremony.

Parking: Accessibility permit parking is available in front of the Bata Library (Lot I), beside the ceremony site. Elderly guests or persons with limited mobility may also be dropped off here. Please identify yourself to the parking attendants upon entry to campus and they will direct you to the accessible lot. Friendly ushers will be available to assist guests to the elevators and up to the accessible seating area, which is located under a tent on the upper podium.

Accessible Guest Seating: The accessible seating area is located at the front section of seating on the Tapscott-Lopes Court. Please let us know if you require accessible seating, and arrive by 1:30pm to access your seats by elevators. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis.

Regalia
If you are a faculty member of an academic institution, you are encouraged to wear regalia and join the academic procession.
Board and Faculty gowning will be held in AJM Smith Room, 1st floor Bata Library.
If you do not own regalia you may rent from Harcourts. A link is provided through your RSVP form.
Academic Procession
Once gowned, gather to be lined up for the Academic Procession outside Champlain College on the bridge level at 1:30 p.m. if the ceremony is held outdoors. If the ceremony is held indoors, please line up on the 2nd level of Champlain College. Volunteers will be available to assist.
