The Office of Research and Innovation offers a variety of workshops to support professional development.
Tri-Agency & General Grant Application Information Sessions 2024-25 Term
These sessions will be led by Trent’s Research staff and will provide opportunities for informal learning and discussion about broader topics of interest to researchers. Each will begin with a general overview of the topic, to be followed by questions and discussions. If participants would like to bring drafts of applications materials related to the topic under discussion, they may do so. Light refreshments will be provided by ORI, but participants are welcome to bring a lunch.

Partnership Engage Grant Information Session - October 23rd 2024
When: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Where: Virtual
This session will provide an overview of the SSHRC Partnership Engage Grant (PEG) program. We will focus on the requirements of PEG applications, describing individual elements such as project descriptions and budgets, and discussing best practices and common pitfalls for each. Also covered will be the requirements of the partner organization, including the contributions and letter of support that the partner must provide. Time will be set aside at the end of the session for questions about the program.
