Over 300 Trent students, faculty, staff and alumni expected at
new annual event

Over 300 Trent University students, faculty, staff and alumni are gearing up to cheer on the
Peterborough Petes when they take on the Belleville Bulls at the Memorial Centre on
Thursday, November 17 at 7 p.m. for the first annual Trent Night at the Peterborough Petes
event.
Members of the Trent community will play an integral role in Thursday night's game
beginning with the Trent International Student Association (TISA) choir who will perform the
national anthem. The ceremonial puck drop will include Sheldon Willerton, president of the
Trent Central Student Association (TCSA), alongside Julie Davis, vice-president of External
Relations and Advancement, Bill Byrick, director of Athletics and Robert Taylor-Vaisey,
president of the Alumni Association. The intermission challenge will be hosted by Trent's
College Cabinet heads who will take to the ice to compete in a relay race. The College that
wins the race will be the inaugural recipient of the 'Trent Night at the Petes' trophy, a new
tradition for the annual event.
Tickets will be available at the Memorial Centre box office before the game and are $12 with
valid Trent ID. All members of the Trent community are invited and encouraged to attend.
