Learn about exciting volunteer opportunities with the 2010 Canada-Wide Science Fair

A public information and volunteer recruitment session for the 2010 Canada-Wide Science Fair being hosted by Peterborough in May will be held on Thursday, March 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Peterborough Public Library (345 Aylmer Street N.).
Come learn about exciting volunteer opportunities with Canada-Wide Science Fair 2010. Sarah Langer, a 2009 Canada-Wide Science Fair Silver Medalist and member of Team Canada-MILSET 2009, and Colin Jagoe, Instructional Leadership Consultant - Science & Technology and Outdoor Education with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board, and attendee of the Students on Ice Arctic Expedition 2009, will be on hand at the session to discuss how their involvement in science fairs translated into adventure and learning opportunities.
The session is open to all members of the community.
The Canada-Wide Science Fair 2010 Host Committee and Youth Science Canada are proud to present Canada-Wide Science Fair 2010, hosted by Trent University and the City of Peterborough, May 15-23, 2010. More than 1,000 guests from across the country will visit Peterborough and area over this nine-day event where student participants will compete for approximately $ 1 million in scholarships and awards.
