Trent University Faculty Association and Trent University Reach Tentative Agreement

Joint News Release - TUFA and Trent University

Negotiating teams for the Trent University Faculty Association (TUFA) and Trent University reached a tentative settlement on a new collective agreement, which, pending ratification, will be retroactive to July 1, 2009.

Both teams have agreed to recommend the tentative settlement to their respective parties.  A meeting will be held for members of TUFA to ratify the agreement on Monday, November 9th. The settlement is also subject to ratification by the University's Board of Governors.

Details of the tentative agreement will be released through joint communiqués after ratification.

TUFA represents over 300 faculty at Trent University.
