Afrobana Hits the Stage November 15

Community Invited to Join Cultural Tour de Force Featuring Trent International Student Performers

The vibrant African and Caribbean cultural heritage of Trent’s multi-talented international student body will come to life in the Afrobana Cultural Show taking place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 15 at the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre.
Organized by the Trent African Caribbean Student Union (TACSU), the evening will feature a series of dynamic student performances from the African and Caribbean perspective, including song, dance, music, stories, and spoken word.
Everyone is welcome to attend this colourful celebration of modern and traditional cultural performances. Tickets are $10 in advance, or $15 at the door, and can be purchased in downtown Peterborough at Island Cream Restaurant (227 Hunter St. W), Black Honey (221 Hunter St. W.) or The Spill (414 George St. N.). On campus, tickets are available at the Trent International Program Office (Champlain College) or in front of Wenjack Theatre. The Market Hall Performing Arts Centre is located at 336 George St. N.
