Remembrance Day Ceremony to be Held at
Trent University on November 11

Community Invited to Join Students to Honour Veterans and Remember Those Who Gave the Ultimate Sacrifice

Trent University will be holding a special ceremony in the Great Hall, Champlain College, on Tuesday, November 11 beginning at 10:30 a.m. in honour of Remembrance Day.
The ceremony will include readings by students and faculty, including excerpts from Joseph Boyden’s Three Day Road, the book selected for the 2008 Trent Reads initiative. There will also be performances by the Unity Singers, Trent University Music Society, and the Lakefield College School Lorelei Consort. In addition, Buddhist prayer flags for peace will be displayed.
This event is organized by Trent University’s spiritual affairs coordinator, Reverend Glenn Empey, who will officiate the ceremony. Everyone is welcome to attend.
