Award-Winning Singer Songwriter Brian St. Pierre to Perform at Wenjack Theatre on September 12

Trent International Program Collaborates with Community Groups to Bring Francophone Sensation to Peterborough

Francophone singing sensation Brian St. Pierre will perform live in concert at Wenjack Theatre, Trent University on Friday, September 12 starting at 7:00 p.m.
Brian St. Pierre is best known for his song “Mon Beau Drapeau” which has become the anthem of Franco-Ontarians. He has opened for several renowned French artists including Brasse Camarade, France d’Amour, Laurence Jalbert and Vilain Pingouin. In 2005, his music won best musical as well as best children’s album from the Gala des Prix Trille Or. In 2006, Brian was inducted as a member of L’Ordre de la Francophonie for his contributions to Franco-Ontarian culture through his music and performances.
The Trent International Program joined forces with several other community groups, such as Club Connexion Française de Peterborough, Centre Ontarien Francophone de la Région de Durham, in an effort to bring Mr. St. Pierre to Peterborough.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the performance starts at 8:00 p.m. on September 12. Tickets are $15.00 for adults, and for high school and Trent students the cost is only $5.00 with student ID. Tickets are available at the following locations:
