The first of Chancellor Peter Gzowski's Dialogues on March 7 will separate fact from fiction in the brain drain debate. Panelists will include John Helliwell, Professors of Economics, University of British Columbia; John McCallum, Chief Economist and Senior Vice-President, Royal Bank of Canada; Robert Pritchard, President, University of Toronto, and Heather Reisman, President and CEO, Indigo Books and Café. Broadcaster and writer Gzowski, who became Trent's Chancellor on July 1, 1999, will serve as moderator for the dialogue, which is sponsored by Quaker Oats of Canada Ltd. The discussion is open to the public and free of charge. It begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Wenjack Theatre on Trent¹s Symons Campus. |
