About Peterborough
With a population of about 80,000, Peter-borough has many of the amenities of a larger city while keeping a small town feel-ing. Located about half way between Toron-to and Ottawa, and is home to an exciting Indigenous art and Theatre community. Downtown offers many restaurants and meeting places that are known throughout the area for great food. The First People’s House of Learning is located in the Enwayaang (the way we speak together) building which sits adjacent to the Otonabee River.
