Moving in to your residence is an exciting time, and the Student Housing team is here to make the move-in process simple so you can get settled quickly.

Before you arrive
Step 1
Read the Residence Guidebook and the Residence Agreement: 2024-2025 Residence Guidebook.
Step 2
You may pick up your keys on Saturday, January 4; Sunday, January 5; or Monday January 6 between 8 A.M. and 10 P.M EST.

**Important: You must notify Student Housing via email (residence@trentu.ca) if you plan to arrive after January 6, otherwise, your room may be reassigned to another student. Please note that there will not be any early arrivals permitted for the Winter 2025 term.
Step 3
At all the Service Centres, you will find friendly and helpful students and staff waiting to welcome you, hand out your keys, and answer any questions you might have about moving in.
Early Arrival Requests
Due to the Winter University Closure, Student Housing is not able to accept any requests for early arrival to residence. Students are welcome to contact our office to be provided with information on local hotels or other accommodations available should you be arriving early to Peterborough.
