Move-in for the 2024-25 AY is Sunday, September 1 for undergraduates and Monday, September 2 for graduates and upper year students (Peterborough and Durham)
It’s almost time to move into your new residence at Trent! Before joining us, we have some helpful resources to make your day go smoothly:
Before You Arrive

Read the Residence Standards.

Read the Residence Agreement relevant to you:

Avoid move-in delays - upload your photo to the TrentU Card Photo Submission tool on the myTrent portal so you can access your residence.

Coldex Fridge Rental – need a mini fridge for your space? Rent one from Coldex (coldexrents.com).

Refer to the email you received that includes your move-in time slot. You can access your move-in information in your original housing application in the housing portal.

Are you a student with Indigenous ancestry?
If you are a student who identifies as Indigenous (First Nations, Status/Non-Status, Métis and Inuit) living in residence for the upcoming academic year, FPHL provides you with the opportunity to move in early on August 31 (for both Peterborough and Durham Campuses)!
On the evening of August 31, FPHL will provide Indigenous student a Welcome Dinner in Peter Robinson Dining Hall.

Your community Dons and the rest of our staff are excited to support your big day! Carts will be available and student staff will be on hand to troubleshoot.
Late Arrivals
If you are unable to arrive during your scheduled move-in time slot, please contact Student Housing at residence@trentu.ca before you arrive on campus, and we will work with you to accommodate your needs.
Move in Day
Check in at your building key tent and pick up your keys. Student staff will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Drop Off
Prepare to quickly unload your vehicle after arriving at your drop off point. Once you've unloaded, park in a nearby parking lot labeled on the map to avoid congested traffic.
