Bibliographic Format
It is important that bibliographies be standardized and that they contain certain relevant information. Please note that while bibliographic formats are similar to note formats, there are some significant differences. For types of sources not noted here, please see the Chicago Manual of Style, available at the Bata Library information desk or online at The Chicago Manual of Style Online.
For books:
Berger, Carl. The Sense of Power: Studies in the Ideas of Canadian Imperialism, 1867-1914. Toronto: University of Toronto Press, 1970.
For books with multiple authors (note that only the first author is listed surname first):
