Rachael Nicholls, PhD, OCT
Assistant Professor
Rachael is a queer, Peterborough-based educator and researcher settler of Scottish & Irish ancestry. A former public-school teacher, she holds a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Community Development and a PhD in Education Leadership and Policy from OISE/University of Toronto. Her research centers around Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging for 2SLGBTQIA+ students in rural school boards, she also has extensive experience working with queer youth, racialized youth, and Indigenous student mentorship and support at the post-secondary level. She is an Assistant Professor and faculty advisor at Trent University.
