Living at Champlain College
At Champlain, the choice is yours. Live in the historic towers of the College along the banks of the Otonabee River or with the modern touches of the Champlain Annex.
Find a community that matches your passion
On the Peterborough campus, we offer ten Living Learning Communities that are a combination of interest-based themes and affiliated with Academic Programs. At Champlain College you will find the Active Living and Global Living learning communities.
Active Living Learning Community
Member of this community will join a community designed for students who share an interest or a passion for being physically active, exploring and adventure. Champlain College is known for their rich spirit of adventure, discovery and global citizenship – making it the ideal home for students with these interests.
Global Living Learning Community
Members of this community will be encouraged to be open to different ideas and opinions regarding world issues, all while challenging their understanding of being a global citizen. A great community for students who are studying international development, have an interest in studying and living abroad, have experiences living internationally, and a general interest in our impact on a global scale.
Historical towers or modern townhouse
Living at Champlain College comes with two living options with the historic towers along the bank of the Otonabee River or the Annex conveniently on the edge of the Symons Campus.
Common spaces for those living in residence
Champlain College has common spaces that are accessible to all students living in the College. Each residence community has a common room which features TVs and kitchenettes – perfect or hanging out, watching Netflix, and group studying. Students also share laundry facilities – which are free to use anytime.
