Scarf Ceremony
Each College has a college scarf that is presented to new students at some point during the year. The scarves feature the College’s colours as well as the College crest.
Here in Champlain College you are not just given your college scarf, you have to earn it!
Being part of a community requires your active participation, and being a member of Champlain College requires a commitment to life long learning, compassionate citizenship, and service on campus and where ever you are.
To Earn your Stripes you will need to fill out the nominations survey emailed to you to share how you have embraced our college values this year and Earned your Stripes! The survey should only take about 10 minutes and I hope it will impact how you think about how you can shape our community throughout your time here at Trent.
This year (2022) we will be opening this survey to all Champlain students who may have missed getting their scarf over the years. We will be hosting our scarfing ceremony on Tuesday Nov. 8th. Let us know which ceremony you will be able to attend at the end of the survey. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Looking forward to celebrating with you and seeing you in red and blue!
