Gender Inclusive Restroom Locations and Details
Trent University has identified gender inclusive restrooms at its buildings at Symons and Durham campuses and at Traill College. Restrooms are identified with one of the following signs:
All three types of signs contain the image of a toilet. In addition, the accessible restrooms contain the International Symbol of Accessibility and those that provide a change table contain a line drawing depicting a person in a supine position on a flat surface.
Description of text on the signage:
All Gender Restroom. Anyone can use this restroom regardless of gender identity or expression. These signs also contain the Braille equivalent of the preceding text.
