Intermediate Health and Physical Education

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Intermediate Health & Physical Education ABQ will give you the qualifications to teach in the Intermediate Division (Grades 7-10). This qualification will give you a teachable subject in Health and Physical Education.

You will walk away with the knowledge, skills and confidence that will allow you to develop a quality Health & Phys. Ed. program as well as give you the basic knowledge to teach Intermediate students. The advantages of this online format are that you will be able to share resources and ideas as well as collaborate with the other participants on a regular basis. You will review Phys. Ed. related documents as well as explore new and innovative trends as they pertain to Health & Physical Education.

PREREQUISITES

• OCT Member in Good Standing or OCT applicant if new Ontario BEd graduate (Read more)
   
• Your teacher education program coursework and practicum must be successfully completed before registration
   
• University undergraduate degree (in addition to BEd or teacher education program degree)
  
  Please note that no specific university subject credits are required to take this course
