COURSE DESCRIPTION

Intermediate Division First Nation, Métis and Inuit Studies ABQ gives teachers the qualifications to teach in the Intermediate Division (grades 7 to 10). This qualification will give you a teachable subject in First Nation, Métis and Inuit Studies.

Intermediate Division First Nation, Métis and Inuit Studies is for teachers who are looking to gain knowledge on teaching First Nation, Métis and Inuit Studies in the classroom, while at the same time qualifying in the Intermediate Division. Upon completion of this course a teacher will be qualified as an Intermediate teacher and will have an Intermediate teachable in First Nation, Métis and Inuit Studies.

PREREQUISITES

• OCT Member in Good Standing or OCT applicant if new Ontario BEd graduate (Read more)
   
• Your teacher education program coursework and practicum must be successfully completed before registration
   
• University undergraduate degree (in addition to BEd or teacher education program degree)
  
  Please note that no specific university subject credits are required to take this course
