Integration of Information and Computer Technology in Instruction

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This Part 1 course explores practical technological tools available to enhance teacher instruction and support student learning. Each module examines current educational technology trends and research while providing practical resources that participants can implement into their teaching and learning. The course will provide opportunities for candidates to critically examine the role of technology and their responsibilities to meet 21st century learners’ needs. The course will examine policy, professionalism and assist teachers in deciphering how to choose technology that meets both their own needs and their students.
