Library collections are managed according to the Collection Development Guidelines

Suggestions for purchase are welcome. Please contact your Learning & Liaison Librarian or email library@trentu.ca to recommend a title for the Library's collection.

The Library provides access to streaming videos for personal and educational use. Search Omni for videos or browse our list of film collections.

Search for a journal title or browse journals by subject using Omni's Journal Search. The Library provides access to print and online journals from major academic publishers to support teaching and research.

Trent Theses & Dissertations

Access to Trent graduate theses and dissertations in print or online:

All Trent theses and dissertations are catalogued in Omni. Search by author, title or keyword and filter to Theses & Dissertations under Resource Type.

Canadian Theses & Dissertations

Search Library and Archives Canada's Theses Canada database.

Global Theses & Dissertations

Government publications form part of the Maps, Data and Government Information Centre collection on the 4th floor of Bata Library.

Online Sources

The Curriculum Collection is located on the main 2nd floor of the Bata Library. This collection includes material selected for teacher candidates to use in the classroom or during their practicum placements. 

 

Our collection of microform and microfiche is located on the 2nd floor of Bata Library. 

We have two microform readers also located on the 2nd floor. One reader is equipped for digital scanning, located in the computer commons.

Library Service Desk staff are available to assist with accessing and using microform and microfiche collections and equipment.
