When is Thrive Week?
Trent's Thrive Week occurs annually, taking place in November. This year, Thrive Week will take place November 13 - 17, 2023 with activities that extend across both the Peterborough and Durham campuses, ensuring that all students have access to resources and events that foster well-being. Additionally, Trent's Human Resources coordinates Thrive activities for faculty and staff, creating a comprehensive approach to nurturing mental health within our academic community.
Thrive Week Aims to Achieve:
- Enhanced Mental Health Literacy: Empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain positive mental health through healthy habits and self-care practices.
- A Supportive and Caring Community: Engaging in activities, students become part of a compassionate and supportive community that encourages well-being.
- Promotion of Available Resources: Serves as a platform for promoting the diverse mental health resources available at Trent.
- Proactive Wellness: Emphasizes the significance of a proactive, preventative approach to wellness, encouraging students to prioritize their mental health and develop resilient coping strategies.
