NEADS National Student Awards Program
Applicants must have a permanent disability; and must be currently registered in and returning to a full-time program of study at an accredited Canadian post-secondary college or university. Full-time status is at least 40% of a full course load. NEADS National Student Awards ($3000) and Holly Bartlett Memorial Award ($1000).

Justin Eves Foundation Scholarship
Student has a learning disability and graduated from an Ontario secondary school. Minds in Motion Award of up to $3000.

Roy Cooper Scholarship
Recognizes an Ontario high school student who has a learning disability and who will be attending a postsecondary institution in the upcoming academic year. The student must be pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in a Physical Sciences discipline. Award Value: $1000.

CNIB Scholarships
Awarded to Canadian students who are blind or partially sighted. Applications are automatically entered into competition for all scholarships, ranging from $1000 to $5000.

AbbVie IBD Scholarship Program
Available to students, living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, who are entering into or currently attending a post-secondary educational institution. Valued at $5000.

Eric Waldron Scholarship Award
Provided to a post-secondary student with cerebral palsy and who has completed their first year of instruction at university or college. Enrollment programs that will lead to working with individuals with disabilities will be an asset.

Canadian Hard of Hearing Association (CHHA) Scholarship Program
Applications for these four scholarships will be accepted from any hard of hearing, deafened or oral deaf student registered in a full time program at a Canadian post-secondary institution. Carrell Hearn Memorial Scholarship ($1000), Frank Algar Memorial Scholarship ($1000), The Dr. Charles A. Laszlo Scholarship ($1000) and Susan Brown Memorial Scholarship ($2000).

The Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (AEBC) is a grassroots organization that works to improve the lives of blind, deafblind and partially sighted Canadians through education, empowerment, and advocacy. AEBC offers scholarships to recognize outstanding blind, deafblind and partially sighted post-secondary students. T-Base Communications Scholarships valued at $1000 and AEBC Scholarships are $1000.

Spinal Cord Injury Canada Scholarships
The Chopnick Hilliard Scholarship is open to any post-secondary student who has a spinal cord injury and who is living in Canada. Valued at $1500. Valued at $1000, the Kirby Rowe Scholarship is awarded to a student with a spinal cord injury who is pursuing post-secondary education related to management and leadership.

Canadian Hearing Society National Scholarship
Available to Deaf and hard of hearing Canadian residents, 17 years of age or older attending an accredited post-secondary educational institution. Scholarship awards are $3,000 a year for full-time students and $1,000 a year for part-time students.

Open to students with a visible or invisible disability, who are pursuing a Computer Science degree. Valued at $5000 each. Must have strong academic achievement.

David Smyth Memorial Bursary
Established by family and friends to commemorate a remarkable young man, and Trent University Student, who bravely battled Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome, a rare form of Leukemia and was an advocate for raising awareness of the Bone Marrow/One Match program to save lives. This bursary is awarded to a student who has the strength and determination, like David, to overcome a disability. OTSS guidelines apply, and students are encouraged to apply at the beginning of the term.
