A separate letter of authorization to invoice for the payment of books should be emailed to the Trent University Bookstore.
Textbooks are listed in your course syllabus and can be purchased from the Trent University Bookstore, online or in-person (in Peterborough).
The Library doesn’t sell books.
Normally, the Library doesn't provide copies of textbooks, only supporting research material. We would only have a copy of a course textbook if:
-
your course instructor provides us with a personal copy for Reserve (3-hour loan), or
-
we've received a donation of that textbook, in which we keep one copy. It may not be the most recent edition.
-
Occasionally, a book that's already available in the Library (online or in print) is selected by an instructor as a course textbook. If it's an e-book, it could have restrictions on the number of simultaneous users. Ask at the Library if you have trouble accessing books.
Any questions or concerns should be directed to the Trent University Bookstore.
