Research interests:
Research Interests: I am interested in helping professional work, and specifically in the interpersonal aspects of this work; namely the ways in which relationships are formed between professionals and those in their care. I aim to understand how helping professionals conceptualize and approach both their work and the interactions inherent in their roles. I have a particular interest in correctional officer work and the youth criminal justice system. I am a multi-methods researcher who values the rich, in-depth knowledge gained from qualitative data and understanding individual experiences.
