Presidential Search Progresses to Interview Phase
The Presidential Search Committee continues to
work diligently to recruit Trent University’s 8th President and
Vice-Chancellor.
I am pleased to report that the process is on track as per
the project plan
and timeline, and is now in the interview phase of the search process.
Work during this phase continues to be informed by criteria set out in the Position
Profile that was established for the recruitment following extensive
consultation with Trent’s internal and external communities. Interviews with
shortlisted candidates have begun, and are expected to continue into early
February 2014.
As you know, recruitments of this nature are highly sensitive, and therefore
the Search Committee is committed to maintaining confidentiality throughout this
process, in order to ensure Trent is able to attract the very best candidate for
the position.
If you have questions regarding the Search Committee or process, please do
not hesitate to contact University Secretary Deb deBruijn at debdebruijn@trentu.ca or
705-748-1223.
Sincerely,
Bryan Davies
