DAILY OVERVIEW: July 16th
Day description: Summer Kickstart involves a variety of programming to help you get familiar with what TrentU Durham GTA has to offer before your start in September! Summer Kickstart is open to both new students, parents, and supporters. It provides opportunities for all to learn more about the campus, services and resources that are available to students during their time at TrentU Durham GTA.
Please only join us for today's programming if you are an Undergraduate student. Please note, today's programming will take place in person, and as such, is also more targeted towards Domestic students attending Trent from the surrounding area.

Program description: Join us for a presentation about student life at TrentU Durham GTA and the transition to life at University. We will discuss what your next steps are as a student before the Fall, some important upcoming dates, and some tips on how to mentally prepare for this change!
Financial Aid Session
Program for: All incoming Undergraduate students to TrentU Durham GTA, parents, and supporters.
Program description: Join us for a program from Financial Aid about OSAP and financial supports, scholarship opportunities and bursaries at the Durham Campus, and important financial payment dates.
Light Fare
Program for: All incoming Undergraduate students to TrentU Durham GTA, parents, and supporters.
Program description: All that information must have made you hungry! Join us for some delicious light fare and some conversations with your peers before our next scheduled presentations!
For Undergraduate Students: The Academic Advising Essentials
Program for: All incoming Undergraduate students to TrentU Durham GTA.
Program description: This session will include information on the questions you may not have known to ask as it relates to your degree and career. We will capture areas related to degree exploration, flexibility within your degree, tips for success, connecting your degree to careers and experiential learning, and finding your balance.
For Parents & Supporters: Empowering the University Transition
Program for: Parents and supporters of incoming students to TrentU Durham GTA.
Program description: A presentation with information to parents and supporters about the transition into university, the differing expectations of students in this time when compared to high school, and how to effectively support students in this time.

Program description: A presentation from Accessibility Services about the available supports for students that are in need, as well as important information about registering with SAS.
