Trent University Internal Research Grants Program

This grant supports Trent University research enhancement toward national competitiveness. It will provide researchers with modest funding to develop research projects or pilot projects; to allow for small-scale innovation and experimentation; and, to allow for the hiring of students. 

This grant aims to stimulate and encourage the communication of research results both within and beyond the academic community. It will support active faculty participation at scholarly conferences and other dissemination venues, and the organization of small-scale knowledge mobilization activities.

This grant supports the development of research that addresses strategic themes, focusing on specific areas of identified need, Tri-Agency priorities or institutional areas of focus. Each year a new theme will be announced and the researcher career stage will be identified.
