Operant Conditioning
During a break, Aaron saw Longboat.
Aaron had skipped breakfast and his stomach wouldn't let him forget it during the morning class. Soon as class was over Aaron rushed into the cafeteria where he ran into Longboat. Aaron was equally excited about running into Longboat as he was about the free drink deal the cafeteria had on. Aaron made sure Longboat knew about the deal.
Longboat wasn't as impressed, as Aaron.
Longboat began explaining something about reinforcement and psychology and quickly got deep. Longboat was very intelligent with an excellent memory and was often explaining concepts and world issues to anyone who would listen. Aaron however was too focused on his meal and free drink to be concerned with what Longboat was talking about at this moment and rushed to pay for the meal.
It's about Operant Conditioning, said Longboat.
Once the two were seated and Aaron was statisfying his overly noisy stomach he remembered that Longboat was once again trying to explain something. Once Aaron set Longboat's mind in motion there was no stopping it. Longboat began to explain to Aaron another conditioning concept called Operant Conditioning, which they had covered recently in class. Longboat carefully tied his lesson into the cafeteria's new free drink promotion with ease. Here is how Longboat's lesson went.
