Classical Conditioning
Aaron and Longboat, were hanging out.
Aaron and David Longboat, who everyone just called Longboat, were watching TV in Aaron's dorm room. After what seemed like endless commercials Aaron had finally had enough and announced his hatred of commercials! Longboat responded that the companies’ advertisements were cleverly using classical conditioning.
An enraged Aaron, became confused.
Confused by Longboat's classical conditioning comment, Aaron asked for more details. Longboat wasn't surprised at Aaron's confusion even though they had covered this exact topic in the psychology lecture previously that day. Aaron had been too busy talking about his top ten favourite burger joints to notice what was happening in the lecture.
The link between psych and TV, was baffling.
Aaron couldn't understand how psychology had anything to do with TV. Longboat who had paid attention in class that day rolled his eyes. Longboat knew he was about to give Aaron the lecture that Doc had tried to earlier that day.
